My career as a cinematographer started with live action shooting for rotoscoping to animation at the commercials company where I worked as an editor. Later, I shot documentaries and music videos, many of which I also directed.

In 1987 I was offered the opportunity to shoot a drama for television. This film: “Breath of Life”, was subsequently nominated for a British Academy (BAFTA) award.

Since then I have shot many movies for TV and theatrical release, and in the 90’s I started shooting commercials.

Recent work has included a short that was also nominated for a BAFTA and a Hollywood feature based on a book by the science fiction writer, Philip K. Dick.
